Reserving Equipment
Come rent at the Outdoor Office, in UREC across from the Member Services Desk during these weekly hours:
- Monday: 12-2PM
- Tuesday: 10:30AM-1:30PM
- Wednesday: 12-3PM
- Thursday: 12:30-3:30PM
- Friday: 3:30-5PM

Rental Policies
Due Dates and Late Fees
- All equipment is due on the date specified in the Rental Agreement Form and must be returned to the Outdoor Office during open hours.
- Anyone may return the equipment on the renter’s behalf.
- If equipment is returned late, an immediate fee of $20 will be charged plus an additional $1 per item per day until the equipment is returned.
Damage and Replacement Fees
- If any part of the equipment is damaged or lost that renders the item permanently unusable, the fee is equivalent to the replacement value of the entire item.
- If a part is broken or lost and can be replaced, the cost of the part will be charged as a damage fee.
- If any equipment is returned excessively dirty, a cleaning fee (variable by item) will be charged.
Suspensions
Renters with unpaid late, damage, or cleaning fees cannot rent more equipment or join Outdoor trips until all fees are paid.
